Delete your account
You can delete your account in the app or on the web. If you can do neither, write to us and a person does it for you.
To delete some of your data and keep your account, see further down this page.
In the app
- Open Settings and choose Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted.
- Type your email address, or DELETE, and choose Delete my account.
It happens at once, and it cannot be undone.
On the web
- Sign in below with the account you want deleted.
- Read what will be deleted.
- Type your email address, or DELETE, and choose Delete my account.
You do not need the app for this. It happens at once, and it cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in
Email hello@shivankit.com from the address on the account, with “Delete my account” as the subject. If you signed up with a phone number, write from any address and give the number; we check that it is yours before deleting anything. A person handles every request.
There is no form to fill in here. An earlier one took any address typed into it, so anyone could ask for somebody else's account to be deleted.
What gets deleted
- Your account and your sign-in.
- Your chats with your assistants.
- The calls you made, with their transcripts, summaries and recordings.
- Photos and files you shared with your assistant.
- Your reminders and call-backs.
- What your assistants remember about you.
- Reports you sent about a reply.
- Your ratings of replies.
- Your sign-ins to connected services.
- This account's notifications and devices.
Organisations you belong to
The app calls an organisation a workspace.
- You are the only person in it— the organisation is erased: its assistants, with their calls, recordings and transcripts, its callers' profiles, its shared knowledge, and its outreach desk's lists, research, drafts and do-not-contact list.
- Other people are in it — it stays. You leave it, and its records stay with it. They can still name you: for example, who approved an email. To have them changed or removed, ask an owner of that organisation.
- You are its only owner and it has other members — make someone else an owner first. Until you do, nothing is deleted.
What we keep, and why
- Billing records — for as long as Indian tax law requires. These hold no call content.
- What was already used to improve our models — a model cannot unlearn what it has learned, and the training data already built is kept. See section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
- A record that the deletion happened — when, the organisation and assistants it concerned, and how much was deleted. It holds no recordings, transcripts or messages.
- A record of your organisation's consent decisions — which version of our documents it accepted or declined, when, and who decided. It shows the permission under which data already used to improve our models was collected, and which outreach desk terms the organisation accepted.
- Anything under legal hold — if a specific account is subject to an active legal or regulatory process, we retain what that process requires until it ends.
Good to know
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account — the data lives on the platform, not on the device.
For what we collect in the first place, see the Privacy Policy and the data safety disclosure.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
A call
- In the Android app or on the web, find the call in History and choose Delete. In the Android app you can also open the call and choose Delete call.
- Choose Delete to confirm.
It leaves your list at once. For 24 hours you can bring it back with Undo. After that, its recording, transcript and summary, and the photos and files shared during it, are erased from our systems. We keep a record that the call happened — when, for how long, and with which assistant — with no content, because billing needs it.
You can delete your own calls. An owner or admin of your organisation can delete any of its calls.
A chat
- In the Android app or on the web, find the chat in History and choose Delete.
- Choose Delete to confirm.
It leaves your History at once and can't be continued. For 24 hours you can bring it back with Undo. After that, its messages, your assistant's replies and the files you shared in it are erased from our systems. We keep a record that the chat happened — when, and with which assistant — with no content.
What deleting a call or a chat leaves
- Reminders and call-backs you set during it, until you remove them.
- What your assistant learned about you, which may stay in its memory.
- What was already used to improve our models, as when an account is deleted.
- Parts of it in our service logs, for up to 7 days before they are overwritten.
- The copies kept for a limited time by the companies that run our AI and speech services, under their own terms.
A reminder or call-back still to come
In the Android app, open the reminder and choose Cancel this reminder, or ask your assistant to cancel it. It is deleted at once, with its recording. Parts of it may stay in our service logs until they are overwritten. Reminders that have already happened stay with the account; to have them deleted, write to us as below.
Your home location
In the app's Settings, where your home location is shown, choose Forget. It is deleted at once.
Anything else
Email hello@shivankit.com from the address on the account, with “Delete some of my data” as the subject, and say what you want deleted. If you signed up with a phone number, write from any address and give the number; we check that it is yours first. A person handles every request.
